Getting to Kings Village
By Car
From Mumbai
Take the road to Panvel. The four laining construction work on NH 66 (earlier called NH 17 or BOM/GOA road) is still on, so take the Pune Expressway instead and exit immediately after paying the toll. Turn right towards Imagica and take the road towards Pali. Continue to Wakan and join the NH 66 heading south or towards Goa. Exit the highway 10 kms after Mangaon at Lonera junction turning right and head towards Goregaon. Follow the road to Mhapral, cross the river and then carry on towards Mandangad for about 10 kms. Just 1 km after Tutu’s retreat, turn left at Shenale phata and immediately turn right to follow the road going towards Atkhol village for 2 kms. Go through Atkhol village and keep going straight towards Sade. Kings Village is on the left side just after Atkhol Village.
From Pune
Take the road to Paud and go through the scenic Mulshi and Tamhinighats heading towards Mangaon. At Mangaon, Turn left on NH 66 (earlier called NH 17 or BOM/GOA road) heading south or towards Goa. Exit the highway 10 kms after Mangaon at Lonera junction turning right and head towards Goregaon. Follow the road to Mhapral, cross the river and then carry on towards Mandangad for about 10 kms. Just 1 km after Tutu’s retreat, turn left at Shenale phata and immediately turn right to follow the road going towards Atkhol village for 2 kms. Go through Atkhol village and keep going straight towards Sade. Kings Village is on the left side just after Atkhol Village.
By Bus
There are straight buses from Dadar and Pune to Mandangad. In fact there is one bus every day from Mumbai which drops and picks up passengers at Aatkhol village.
By Train
The closest train stations are at Khed and Veer (40 kms). Well connectd with auto rickshaw and buses. Please call the Kings Village caretaker (Mr Pandre +91 94034 52081) for any help you may need.
